The University of Mississippi now offers two candidate support programs to aid teachers in their certification journey.
Remember, teachers must enroll with the National Board AND the World Class Teaching Program, annually, to receive candidate support.

Mississippi’s World Class Teaching Program
Offers Face-to-Face mentoring in select locations, Online Mentoring with Face-to-Face Zoom meetings, and Bring it Home cohorts to school districts far removed from any candidate support program. All our candidates are enrolled in our nationally known Blackboard online candidate support course, WCTP 601
MS WCTP Application
National World Class Teaching Program – Available mid October
Offers an independent step-by-step Blackboard candidate support course, WCTP 602, that teaches teachers how to self-assess and leads them through understanding the steps in the certification journey. (This course in not open to Mississippi teachers. Mississippi teachers should join the Mississippi WCTP program)
