World Class Teaching Program – Candidate Support Registration

The WCTP is honored to offer free candidate support to Mississippi teachers. The following is the process you need to follow in order to qualify for our candidate support.

  1. Register for the National Board Process. You must do this first because you are required to have a candidate ID in order for the World Class Teacher Program to serve you.
  2. Complete an Application for the World Class Teaching Program. Applications are found under the Application link on our home page. Your candidate ID will be placed on the application. You will also choose whether you would like to participate in a Face-to-Face mentoring cohort (offered in Oxford, Tupelo, and Southaven) or enroll in the Self-Paced Blackboard Course (WCTP 601), which still offers mentor feedback via email. (You can read more about the types of mentoring we offer underneath the Mentoring tab.)
  1. Please Note: You can not be enrolled in both the Face-to-Face and the Self-Paced course. You can not participate in multiple World Class Teaching Program candidate support programs. Each year, you can only committee to one World Class Teaching Program.
