The World Class Teaching Program is always looking for exceptional National Board Certified Teachers who are ready to serve as teacher leaders. Mentoring positions vary from year to year based on the need of candidates. Mentoring runs from September to May with six meetings in the fall and eight in the spring. Additional mentors are typically needed in the spring semester. Mentoring responsibilities include conducting meetings, reading for the candidates, and corresponding with the candidates through phone calls and emails. All mentors are expected to utilize the online Blackboard Course, WCTP 601, and serve face-to-face candidates and online candidates if needed.
