UM WCTP Bring it Home Cohort
Starting in the fall of 2019, the World Class Teaching Program at the University of Mississippi has developed an effective cohort model that can bring Face-to-Face mentoring to almost any school in Mississippi. This cohort was developed for schools and districts that are not located near a candidate support provider.
Bring it Home Cohort Characteristics
- Face-to-Face mentoring in your district
- 2 years
- One component a semester
- Year 1: Fall/Component 3 Spring/Component 2
Year 2: Fall/Component 4 Spring/Component 4 - Utilizes a local National Board Certified Teacher, which will be trained by the University of Mississippi’s World Class Teaching Program
- Requires 7 registered candidates
- Utilizes our nationally known online candidate support course, WCTP 601
